If you are into Gaming then this is a Breaking news for you guys that PlayStation 4 is launched and is now available in the market.Sony Computer Entertainment launched PlayStation 4 (PS 4) on 15th November, 2013 in North America and soon it will be launched all over the world. PS 4 is the successor of PS 3 which was one of the most used gaming console. The PS 4 is part of the Eight Generation of Gaming Console which will be competing with Wii U and Xbox One.
PlayStation 4 is upgraded to a simpler AMD Processor to overcome the complicated Cell Architecture so that it may attract a huge Developers and support the System. In the new PS 4 Sony made more focus on the Social Gaming adding a "Share" button and to enable live streaming games among friends far from each other.The Gaming console is enabled with a online cloud based server that will provide streaming games namely "Gaikai" and even PlayStation App is also launched for Smart Phones,Tablets as a secondary screen for remote access for playing games.
HARDWARE:
- Processor: PS 4 is using a semi customed APU (accelerated processing unit). The APU includes a single chip which contains both CPU and GPU. Also a secondary chip is associated to handle tasks like Downloading, Uploading and social Gaming.
- Memory: PS 4 is installed with 8 GB of GDDR5 (unified system memory) which is 16 times more RAM than that of in PlayStation 3.
- Storage: A hard drive of 500 GB is set up in PS 4 which can be upgraded by the user.
- Input and output: PS 4 will feature WiFi Connectivity of 802.11 b/g/n, USB connectivity by two ports of USB 3.0, it is also supported with Bluetooth version 2.1 and Ethernet (10BASE-T, 100BASE-TX and 1000BASE-T),wireless DualShock 4 controllers
